About the Artist:
First trained as an architect at the University of Hong Kong and then educated as an art and cultural observer at Central Saint Martins, Wyan Yeung strongly believes in utilising a broad approach by valuing the input of diverse disciplines and specialists to create extraordinary designs through holistic solutions that address the world’s most pressing issues. He loves architecture and the role it plays in everyone’s life since it can be an expression of civic and personal values. He incorporates a variety of artistic cultural elements into his architectural and design practice. As an art and design enthusiast, his creative works have been showcased in some renowned exhibitions, such as the Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism Architecture in Hong Kong and Shenzhen as well as the Hong Kong Exhibition at Venice Biennale International Architecture Exhibition in Italy. He is active in academia having served as adjunct lecturer in architecture, interior architecture and graphic design to undergraduate students.
